A flexible and customized labelling system for cylindrical products

Flexibility was the keyword for the labelling system that Etipack BV recently installed at one of its customers. This customer fills and packs various types of cosmetics and cleaning products on demand, and thus has to deal with a wide variety of jars and bottles that has to be labelled recto/verso or wrap around.

Three Etipack systems in production

This specific customer currently has three Etipack labeling systems in production. The oldest, which is now more than 20 years old, is still keeping up in production. In addition, two new systems have now been installed over the last years, where the most recent one is also equipped to label a very specific product.

Customer-specific adjustments

Etipack systems can always be fully customized. In this case, there was a specific product that required some adjustments to the system; a slightly conical cylindrical jar with a lid with a larger diameter than the jar itself. With a few minor adjustments to the DRP belt and the counter guide, this product now runs smoothly. The customer also requested a chain belt instead of the standard conveyor belt, as well as an extension of the belt on the outfeed side to perfectly fit the system into the production line.
