Etipack provided an integrated system combining different functions: friciton feeding, thermal transfer printing and labelling of empty pouches as follows:

• Friction Feeder Whizzy 350, equipped with brushless motor , automatically separates and feeds pouches stacked in the magazine

• Thermal printing unit provides printing of barcodes, datamatrix and QR codes, variable data, ingredients. Production departments can update, vary variable date on labels as packaging needs and content vary

• Labelling machine applying self-adhesive labels for highest flexibility

• Couple of sucks for product stabilizing

• Couple of pneumatic pliers for pouch opening as pre-opening of pouches with minigrip closure was a major request

• Control on printing and device providing for ejection of pouches non-conforming with parameters set by the operator. Products must be labelled according to strict European laws on pet food  as far as standards, health and quality
